Guidelines for Preventing and Solving Corruption Problems at the Local Level.

Abstract

This article presents and analyzes methods for preventing and solving corruption problems at local elections. Corruption in various ways causing great damage to the state. Beginning in the process of acquiring popular votes, they tend to buy votes in targeted areas that are viewed as investments. Once he became an executive or council member, he exercised his power to withdraw funds. Which has become a culture, both national and local politics are not different. The forms and methods of corruption or corruption are different. In this regard, this article attempts to present a political science perspective on local elections that would enable responsible agencies to use as a guideline to prevent and resolve electoral fraud at the national level. Prevention guidelines are as follows: 1) reforming the campaign system, 2) adding more local news outlets, 3) increasing the role of community leader neutrality and 4) enhancing people's knowledge and understanding. The amendments include 1) imposing more punishment on related persons; 2) stipulating the recruitment of organizations or individuals who do not have a negative effect on the election to serve as director in place of government officials; and 3) imposing mechanisms for increasing penalties. Affects the person connected to that society, so the acquisition of representatives is considered the dignity of the people in that local government organization that can develop the locality to prosperity in the future. But if you get a bad representative, it will also aggravate the badness for the people.
