Development of Skills in Summarizing Folk Tales using the CIRC Technique of Students in the 5th Year Dermatology Class at Ban Siao Noi School.

Abstract

            The objectives of this research were 1) to develop the skills of abbreviating from folk tales using the collaborative CIRC technique of students in Prathom 5 at Ban Siao Noi School. 2) To compare the achievement in abbreviating from folk tales before and after organizing learning using the collaborative CIRC technique of students in Prathom 5 at Ban Siao Noi School. Using the CIRC collaborative learning model, the target group is 8 students in Grade 5 at Ban Siao Noi School, semester 1, academic year 2023. The tools used in the research include learning management plans using the collaborative learning process, CIRC techniques, and pre- and post-study achievement tests. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean (), standard deviation (S.D) and T-test dependent samples. The results of the research found that 1) the results of the evaluation of the use of the learning management plan were at the highest level of appropriateness (= 4.88) 2) the academic achievement obtained from testing with the achievement test after studying was higher than before. The study was statistically significant at the .05 level.
