EFFECTIVENESS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF NA PA SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, MUEANG DISTRICT, CHONBURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the level of Effectiveness of the implementation of the local development plan and 2) to compare people's opinions toward the Effectiveness of the implementation of the local development plan of Na Pa Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Chonburi Province, classified by personal factors. The population was the people aged 18 years and over living in the area of the of Na Pa Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Chonburi Province, the sample group was the 394 people determined using Taro Yamane's formula. The research instrument was the rating scale questionnaire. The data analysis statistics were the percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test (Independent samples), one-way Analysis of Variance, and method of Scheffe/. The research findings revealed that :

1. The overall quality of Effectiveness of the implementation of the local development plan of Na Pa Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Chonburi Province, was at a high level. (mean 3.76) When considering each aspect, they were ranked from highest to lowest as follows : In terms of integration, adaptation, maintaining the integrity of the value system, and achieving goals.
2. The people with different gender, education levels, and Length of residence in the municipality had opinions the Effectiveness of the implementation of the local development plan of Na Pa Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Chonburi Province did not different.
