COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT NEEDS OF PEOPLE IN HIN DAT SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION, HUAI THALAENG DISTRICT, NAKHON RATCHASIMA PROVINCE

Abstract

The research objectives were to study and to compare the community development needs of people in Hin Dat Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Huai Thalaeng District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province classified by the personal factors. The population was the 7,741 people living in the area of Hin Dat Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Huai Thalaeng District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province; the sample group was the 380 people and the sample size was determined using Taro Yamane's calculation formula. The research instrument was 5-level rating scale questionnaire. The data analysis statistics were the percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test (independent samples), one-way Analysis of Variance, and Scheffe's method.               

            The research findings were:

1. The people in the Hin Dat Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Huai Thalang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province had the community development needs in the overall was at high level; when considering each aspect by descending mean were the aspect of infrastructure development, the aspect of public health development and quality of life promotion, the aspect of economic and social, the aspect of political and administration, and the aspect of education, culture, and traditions respectively.
2. The people in the Hin Dat Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Huai Thalang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province when different of gender, education level, and occupation had the community development needs did not different.
