Safety in Educational Institutions and the Development of Wisdom and Morality

Abstract

This academic article aims to study school safety as a critical aspect of educational institutions that school administrators and all stakeholders must prioritize. Establishing it as a core policy is crucial to prevent accidents or disasters, and to promptly address unforeseen incidents within the school. The goal is to prevent losses or damages to the lives and property of students, teachers, and others within the school. Schools should therefore have policies that include: 1) studying the general conditions of the school, community, and the strength of local networks to analyze risks from accidents, disasters, and social environmental hazards, 2) establishing core measures for prevention and response, 3) setting supplementary measures that are appropriate to local beliefs, culture, traditions, and risk factors, 4) planning activities to support the core and supplementary measures, and 5) clearly defining timelines and responsible parties, ensuring that these can be implemented effectively to create a safe educational environment while promoting intellectual and moral development within the institution in a sustainable.
