This route serves as a critical link among China, Laos, and Thailand. Despite the current decline in tourist numbers due to changing tourism preferences, the route still holds potential in terms of logistics and trade. Thus, this article aims to study the utilization of the R3A route to enhance the competitiveness of tourism in upper northern Thailand under the framework of “China’s Belt and Road Initiative”. The study examines the Belt and Road Initiative’s impact on China's tourism sector, the tourism development plan for upper northern Thailand, as well as the challenges and opportunities for tourism development along Thailand’s R3A route. The study found that to improve tourism competitiveness along the R3A route under Thailand’s Belt and Road Initiative, strategic planning in collaboration with Laos and China is essential. It also requires infrastructure development, the provision of high-standard tourism services, promoting of travel safety, enhancing personnel capabilities, utilizing digital media for promotion, supporting local products, establishing service quality standards, and promoting local culture. The National Primary Health Commission was established to coordinate primary health care. and Thailand has signed and accepted the Charter for Health Development. The World Health Organization aims to determine good health for everyone by the year 2000, Office of the Primary Health Commission There has been a drive for primary public health work. In the form of volunteers, with training of public health reporters and development to select village public health volunteers. Later, the level of public health information was raised to become village health volunteers. Therefore, in this academic article, the issue of the meaning of training will be presented. The sample group was purposively selected, consisting of 25 traditional doctors and 20 elderly people, totaling 45 people. The research instruments used were structured interviews, participant observation, and descriptive data analysis.</p> <p><strong>Findings: </strong>1) Knowledge from local wisdom of local doctors in Kohong Municipality, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, can be classified into 2 types: (1) Knowledge from experience in treating physical diseases, including wind doctors, herbalists, and masseurs. Each type of local doctor has a different method of treating and (2) Knowledge from beliefs and religions, including monk doctors, spirit mediums, and shamans. 2) The use of local wisdom knowledge of local doctors in caring for the health of the elderly in communities in Kohong Municipality, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province can be classified into 2 types: (1) Caring for the health of the elderly in terms of their bodies, using food wisdom and exercise wisdom and (2) Caring for the health of the elderly in terms of their minds, using the principles of Buddhist teachings to apply to daily life.</p> <p><strong>Applications of this study:</strong> Develop a strategic plan for preserving the wisdom of local doctors to preserve and develop the learning management of community health systems, especially the use of local wisdom in managing the health system of the elderly in a format appropriate to the context of the area.</p>2025-08-18T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Social Development Research and Practicehttps://so15.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jsdrp/article/view/1318The Effects of Marketing Factors on the Decision to Participate in the 2024 National Science and Technology Fair2024-12-24T13:04:32+07:00suwannee hoaihongthongsuwaho@kku.ac.thSasiwimol Konpangsasiwimol.ko@kkumail.com<p><strong>Objectives: </strong>The objective of this study is to analyze the factors influencing the decision to attend the National Science and Technology Fair 2024 by examining media consumption behavior, information behavior, and marketing factors. The study aims to understand the key factors that affect attendees' decisions.</p> <p><strong>Methodology: </strong>This research employs a survey-based approach, collecting data from a sample group of 202 participants, including students, university students, and the general public who attended the fair. Data were collected using an online questionnaire developed from concepts of information behavior and marketing. Descriptive and statistical analyses were conducted to summarize the findings.</p> <p><strong>Findings: </strong>Most respondents emphasized the importance of content and format (Product), particularly innovations and technology. They preferred concise, easy-to-understand, and engaging content delivered through short video formats. Additionally, price was a significant factor, with most respondents willing to pay low to moderate fees. Accessibility and convenience of the event location, along with on-site amenities, were also crucial to their decisions. Furthermore, exposure to promotional media via social media platforms, coupled with promotions or exclusive benefits, significantly increased interest in attending the event.</p> <p><strong>Applications of the Study: </strong>The findings of this research can inform the development of strategies for organizing events, public relations, and event design to better attract target audiences.
