The Development Guidelines of People’s Participation in Administration of Sub- District Administrative Organization: A case Study of Nongkhae Sub-District Administrative Organization, Rasisalai District, Sisaket Province

Abstract

This descriptive independence study aimed to study the people’s participation levels toward the administration of Nongkhae Sub-District Administration at Rasisalai District, Sisaket Province. The questionnaires were used to collect the data. The sample group consisted of 150 domiciled people at  Nongkhae Sub-District. The statistical analysis was performed by percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Findings revealed that: 1. most people graduated from primary schools. They were married, aged over than 21 – 30 years. They were employees with 3,000 – 8,000-baht monthly incomes. 2. By overall, people participated in the administration of the Sub-District Organization at a moderate level, ranking from the highest to the lowest as follows: the participation in other performances, the political participation and policy participation. 3. the researchers adopted the strategy plan for the development guidelines of the participation of people toward the administration of  Nongkhae Sub-District at  Rasisalai District Sisaket Province including 5 strategies within 16 activities as follows: 1) increasing 4 activities for the political development participation, 2) developing 3 activities for the participation in setting the policies of  Nongkhae Sub-District, 3) developing and promoting 3 activities for the community participation in doing activities with local Administrative organizations and related organizations, 4) developing 3 activities for the participation of the audit, and 5) developing 3 activities for the other performances of  Nongkhae.
