Specifically, it investigated 1) employee competency, organizational culture, and job satisfaction as key factors that can affect employee performance; 2) the concepts and theories related to employee competency, organizational culture, job satisfaction, and employee performance; and 3) the influence and interplay of employee competency, organizational culture, and job satisfaction on employee performance and on each other. The research sample consisted of 300 employees from private companies in Bangkok. The research instrument was a questionnaire, and data were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling techniques. The findings revealed that the structural equation model was consistent with the empirical data, with the goodness-of-fit indices for both models being at an acceptable level, indicating the high quality of the model. The results showed that employee competency had a positive effect on organizational culture, with an influence size of 0.297, which was statistically significant at the 0.001 level. Employee competency also positively affected job satisfaction, with an influence size of 0.190, which was statistically significant at the 0.001 level. Organizational culture positively affected employee performance, with an influence size of 0.746, which was statistically significant at the 0.001 level. Finally, job satisfaction had a positive effect on employee performance, with an influence size of 0.196, which was statistically significant at the 0.001 level.
Phetcharat Jinnupong Siam Prasertkul Copyright (c) 2025 Business Administration and Economics Review https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-22 2025-12-22 21 2 1 18 STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF PREFERENTIAL TAX ON NEW ENERGY VEHICLE PURCHASE ON CONSUMERS' PURCHASE INTENTION - USING CONSUMERS' GREEN PERCEIVED VALUE AS AN INTERMEDIARY VARIABLE https://so15.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/bae/article/view/1430
This quantitative study explores the influence mechanism of China's purchase tax reduction policy for New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) on consumers' purchase intention. It analyzes the policy's impact on consumers' green perceived value and purchase intention to reveal the policy's actual effect and pathways. In June 2023, three ministries issued the "Announcement on the Continuation and Optimization of the New Energy Vehicle Purchase Tax Policy." While existing research often focuses on macro-level policy outcomes, the micro-level effects on individual consumers remain less clear. This study selects the preferential tax policy as the independent variable, purchase intention as the dependent variable, and green perceived value as the mediating variable. The research questions are: 1) To what extent does the preferential tax affect purchase intention? 2) How does it affect purchase intention?

Using questionnaire surveys and regression analysis, the study finds the preferential tax policy significantly positively impacts consumers' purchase intention, with green perceived value playing a partial mediating role. Based on these conclusions, suggestions are offered for policy and marketing to promote NEV market development. This study holds theoretical and practical significance for understanding consumer decision-making mechanisms regarding NEVs.
Kunyu Yang Copyright (c) 2025 Business Administration and Economics Review https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-22 2025-12-22 21 2 19 40 Development of an Information System for Online Document Approval at Hatyai University https://so15.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/bae/article/view/1657
This research aims 1) to develop an information system for online document approval at Hatyai University 2) To evaluate the efficiency and user satisfaction of the online document approval information system of Hatyai University. The study focused on three major issues related to the GT research method: (1) Specification of the variation of the GT method selected for application in the research project; (2) Specification of the use of literature according to the variation of GT method selected; and (3) Specification of the coding process according to the variation of GT method selected. A non-systematic literature review was employed to address these issues. Purposive and convenience sampling were used to select twenty GT research articles published in Thai Citation Index (TCI) journals. The study found that none of the twenty projects studied complied appropriately with all three issues. Sixty percent of the projects studied did not specify any of the issues. Twenty-five percent of the projects studied specified issue number 1, while only five percent specified issue number 2 and forty percent specified issue number 3. Only 15 percent of the projects studied were able to specify the coding process that matched the requirements of the GT variation selected. These findings led to the recommendation that Thai researchers planning to conduct GT research projects should thoroughly study the method before conducting such research.
Paratchanun Charoenarpornwattana Nopphong Kerdngern Ian David Smith Jamnean Joungtrakul Copyright (c) 2025 Business Administration and Economics Review https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-22 2025-12-22 21 2 62 81 The marketing mix factors for online shopping via the 7-Eleven delivery application of CP All Public Company Limited under the new normal lifestyle in Thailand https://so15.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/bae/article/view/1124
Abstract

The research aims to study: 1) the general information of consumers, 2) the level of opinions on the marketing mix, and 3) the factors affecting the marketing mix in online shopping through the 7-Eleven delivery application under the new normal lifestyle. The study employed documentary analysis and synthesis research based on a review of related literature, research studies, and contextual data both from Thailand and abroad. The findings indicate that providing services to Chinese tourists requires in-depth understanding of culture, language, technology, consumer behavior, and customer-specific service strategies. The proposed training curriculum should cover six key areas: (1) fundamental principles of service excellence for Chinese customers; (2) Chinese language for communication to enhance service quality; (3) the use of technology to elevate service excellence; (4) practical service skills tailored for Chinese customers; (5) transforming problems into customer satisfaction; and (6) service strategies to create impressive experiences for Chinese customers. The curriculum encompasses knowledge, skills, and attitudes of personnel in a systematic manner. The main recommendation is that four-star hotels should develop specialized training programs aligned with the characteristics of the target tourist segment, especially Chinese tourists, to enhance staff competencies in delivering professional service and creating lasting impressions that foster customer loyalty.
Paitoon Boonsri Paratchanun Charoenarpornwattana Sadayu Teeravanittrakul Copyright (c) 2025 Business Administration and Economics Review https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-22 2025-12-22 21 2 196 217 The Role of Extreme Sport Sponsorship in Brand Image and Its Impact on Brand Love https://so15.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/bae/article/view/2337
This research aims to examine the influence of Brand sponsorship, Brand-sport congruence, and Brand image on Brand love. A quantitative research approach was employed using secondary data from 78 firms, comprising a total of 234 firm-year observations covering the period 2022–2024 (B.E. 2565–2567). The data were collected from annual reports, financial statements, Form 56-1 (Annual Information Disclosure), and the SETSMART database. Pearson’s correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to test the hypotheses.

The empirical results reveal that profitability, measured by net profit margin and gross profit margin, together with corporate governance represented by the shareholding proportion of major shareholders, significantly influences dividend payout efficiency in terms of dividend payout ratio. In addition, earnings per share, net profit margin, and gross profit margin were found to affect dividend payout efficiency in terms of dividend yield. These findings highlight the pivotal role of profitability and corporate governance in determining dividend payout efficiency, particularly among SET 100 firms, which are characterized by high financial stability. Accordingly, dividend policy formulation should take into consideration both operational performance and governance structure to ensure long-term stability and sustainability of shareholder returns.
Wichuda Somngam Kanyapat Aroonrat Pitan Sanpakdee Aranphong Thananchai Copyright (c) 2025 Business Administration and Economics Review https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-22 2025-12-22 21 2 239 259 The impact of enterprise risk management on firm value of listed companies in the Stock Exchange of Thailand https://so15.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/bae/article/view/2376
This study examines the impact of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) on firm value of publicly listed companies in the Stock Exchange of Thailand, using a sample of 200 firm-year observations from 2020 to 2024. Multiple regression analysis indicates that ERM disclosure under the COSO-ERM 2017 framework is relatively high, reflecting firms’ awareness of risk management practices. However, ERM disclosure does not have a statistically significant effect on firm value when controlling for industry effects (B = -2.440, p = 0.093), suggesting that compliance-driven ERM reporting does not clearly reflect practical effectiveness or create financial value. In contrast, when industry effects are not controlled, ERM disclosure has a significant negative impact on firm value (B = -3.185, p = 0.039), highlighting the role of industry characteristics and business structure in market interpretation. Additional findings indicate that ROA has a positive and significant effect on firm value, whereas ROE has a small but significant negative effect. Firm size and leverage are not significant determinants. Differences across industries were observed, with technology firms exhibiting a positive effect on firm value, while resource-based firms show a significant negative effect.

This study supports both Agency Theory and Stakeholder Theory, suggesting that document-based ERM may only marginally reduce agency costs and does not directly enhance firm value. The findings provide empirical evidence to fill academic and practical gaps, demonstrating how risk management practices influence firm value and inform sustainable strategic decision-making in the Thai capital market.

Prisana Tangmutasawat Aranphong Thananchai Anotha Polpanumas Yuphawadee Nathasitsophon Copyright (c) 2025 Business Administration and Economics Review https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-12-22 2025-12-22 21 2 260 283
