https://so15.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PYJ/article/view/1913

This research article aims to investigate the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) among hotel employees, employing a quantitative research approach. The sample comprised 257 hotel employees in Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province, selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results indicated that hotel businesses implemented CSR at a high level across all five dimensions and that employees demonstrated a high level of OCB in all aspects. Hypothesis testing revealed that CSR had a significant positive effect on OCB (B = 0.314, p < 0.01), particularly in the dimensions of employee responsibility (B = 0.652, p < 0.01) and community responsibility (B = 0.470, p < 0.01). However, supplier responsibility showed a significant negative effect on OCB (B = -0.698, p < 0.01), while customer responsibility and environmental responsibility had no statistically significant effect (p > 0.05). These findings suggest that hotel entrepreneurs should prioritize the development of policies and strategies related to employee and community responsibilities in order to foster OCB within the hotel sector. Additionally, this study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by expanding the understanding of the relationship between CSR strategies and OCB in the hotel industry, a context where empirical research remains relatively limited.
Jinwei ZhuSamroeng KaiyawongAnchalee Chaisri

https://so15.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PYJ/article/view/2262

This research aimed to examine (1) the level of carbohydrate counting behavior among working age people, (2) the relationship between personal factors, carbohydrate counting literacy, disease prevention motivation, and social support with carbohydrate counting behavior of working age people, and (3) the factors influencing carbohydrate counting behavior of working age people. The research employed a cross-sectional survey design, using the concepts of health literacy, protection motivation theory, and social support theory as the research framework. The study area was the central region of Thailand. The sample consisted of 390 working age people selected through simple random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire covering personal factors, carbohydrate counting literacy, disease prevention motivation, social support, and carbohydrate counting behavior. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results revealed that (1) the majority of working age people exhibited a low level of carbohydrate counting behavior (70.77%). (2) Personal factors, including gender, education level, and occupation, were significantly associated with carbohydrate counting behavior (p < 0.05). Carbohydrate counting literacy showed a strong positive correlation with carbohydrate counting behavior (r = 0.60, p < 0.01), while disease prevention motivation and social support demonstrated moderate positive correlations with carbohydrate counting behavior (r = 0.47 and 0.46, p < 0.01, respectively). (3) Personal factors, carbohydrate counting literacy, disease prevention motivation, and social support collectively explained 38.20% of the variance in carbohydrate counting behavior among working age people (Adjusted R² = 0.382).

The findings of this research revealed that working age people had a low level of carbohydrate counting behavior. Personal factors, including gender, educational level, occupation, carbohydrate counting literacy, disease prevention motivation and social support were found to be associated with and influential on carbohydrate counting behavior among working age people. This reflects the importance of managing and implementing dietary behavior modification processes with an emphasis on carbohydrate counting among working age people, which can contribute to reducing risk factors for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and sustainably maintaining blood glucose control among diabetic patients in the population.
Natha Methabutsayathon

https://so15.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PYJ/article/view/1901

This research is a quantitative study aimed at examining the impact of applying artificial intelligence (AI) in the learning process on the learning outcomes of students at Liuzhou Polytechnic University, Guangxi Province, People's Republic of China. The sample consisted of 673 students from the university, selected using a stratified random sampling technique. The research instrument was
a questionnaire on the impact of AI application in the learning process on students' learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The research findings revealed that all five variables representing AI application in the learning process—namely, (1) the use of AI platforms in teaching by instructors, (2) the application of AI in developing specialized skills, (3) the use of AI for homework and lesson review, (4) the use of AI in personalized learning, and (5) the application of AI in language learning—had statistically significant positive effects on students' learning outcomes at the .01 level. The variable with the greatest effect on learning outcomes was the use of AI platforms in teaching by instructors, followed by AI application in developing specialized skills, in homework and lesson review, and in personalized learning. The application of AI in language learning had the least effect among the five variables but still showed a statistically significant impact at the .01 level. The five independent variables could explain 75.1% of the variance in learning outcomes. The results of this study demonstrate the potential of integrating AI in the learning process to enhance learning outcomes. Furthermore, the findings provide guidance for educational institutions in planning and designing learning processes that incorporate AI to improve students’ learning outcomes.
Qing LinSamroeng KaiyawongAnchalee Chaisri

2025-09-212025-09-21438198Online Gaming Addiction in the Digital Age: Factors, Impacts, and the SFSC Model for Psychological Prevention and Intervention
https://so15.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PYJ/article/view/2180

This academic article aims to review literature and present an integrated conceptual framework concerning online gaming addiction in the digital age. The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes this condition as a significant mental health issue. The article analyzes psychological factors, encompassing individual, familial-social, and digital environmental factors, which are crucial mechanisms driving this addictive behavior. Furthermore, it identifies impacts on time management, social roles, education, physical and mental health, as well as emotional instability, highlighting the increasing urgency of this issue due to high mobile phone and internet usage statistics among Thai children and youth. To address this challenge, the researcher proposes the "SFSC Model (Student, Family, School, Community)," a holistic framework for integrated psychological prevention and intervention. This model is of paramount importance in fostering sustainability by emphasizing the collaborative roles of students, families, schools, and communities in promoting mental well-being and balanced development. It thereby enables children and youth to utilize technology in a creative and safe manner, while effectively mitigating its negative consequences.
Chetnipat Chitthihirunkul
